WORK EXPERIENCE:
Visited 100+ schools across the country as a part of the mission to promote Maths & science in native Indian languages..giving due consideration to 'ethics (/classic arts)'

DSP ENGINEER (TIVR Communications, Bengalooru, Sep’2008- June' 2009):
(1) Speech Codecs : AMR-NB/WB Codecs– I was involved in code optimization including conversion of ‘Float code to Fixed code’, and in the implementation of time and memory efficient algorithms using c and testing over Windows and ARM. I was able to achieve about 70% reduction in the MIPS count on ARM9E.
(2)Audio Codecs : AACLC Encoder – I have implemented Radix-2, Radix-4, Split Radix FFT algorithms using C, both recursive and non-recursive versions, that are highly time and memory efficient Algorithm Implementations, that resulted in savings of more than 80% in terms of MIPS count on ARM9E. Code Optimization and Testing over Windows and ARM processor are the other tasks that I took part.

(1) Resource person for workshops (ECE subjects)/ MATLAB trainer (Aug’ 2015 onwards)
(2) Faculty of ECE at Chalapati Inst. of Tech. (CIT), Guntur during Dec’ 2012– June 2015
(3) Worked as half-time teaching asst.(/research oriented) at IITM (Aug’2005-Jun’2008)
(4) Faculty of ECE at SRTIST, Nalgonda, AP for 1 year (July’2004 – June 2005).
RESEARCH:
Research scholar at IITM during Jan’ 2010 to Dec’ 2012 working for my PhD. Finished Coursework, Comprehensive and got 1 publication during that time. (Then I opted out and joined as faculty in Chalapati Institute of Technology.)

Initiated steps to bring the NPTEL video lectures (taught by IIT prof.s) content to our institute, CIT.(received from IIT during Feb-Mar'2013)
Few ideas that I wish to implement as a Teacher & Adminsitrator:
• Effective utilization of the available resources
• Orient the students to pursue higher studies at institutes like IITs, IIMs work in organizations such as ISRO, DRDO, HAL etc.,. by training them accordingly.
• Motivate students to participate in literary/ cultural/ technical events within & outside the school
• Arrange guest lectures/ workshops/ training by students and alumni of IITs.
• Play vital role in bridging the gap between industry and educational institutes – arranging industrial tours, encouraging students to do mini-projects.
• Nurturing the thinking capabilities/ interest in students, colleagues.
• Streamlining the strengths of students to develop the community around the institute (www.ivil.iitm.ac.in, www.nss.iitm.ac.in NCC NSS activities)
• Teaching the subjects with proper correlation and with an interdisciplinary approach – UNIFIED THEORY of all subjects (usage of latest technology/tools).
• Teaching by demos, using innovative teaching tools, giving importance to hands on / practicals.

Languages Known: Hindi, Telugu, English, Sanskrit (20%), Tamil (very little/ context based)
Interests: Indian Classical music/ art forms; visiting government schools to promote Maths & Science with values; Visiting science museums_libraries wherever I go.
Relevant info: Core vegetarian (in thoughts & deeds); fights relentlessly against mal-practices; cannot tolerate unwanted things that are happening these days in some campuses in the name of fresher’s party/ annual day etc., ; have been a Serial-entrepreneur at small scale since 2008
Others: Singing classical music/ patriotic songs; writing poems/ articles/ letters (mainly) in Telugu…(published offline and online)
Written 1000+ of hard copy / soft copy letters to various ppl/ organizations regarding various issues ...to make the society 'better'.
